Our design practice starts by listening. We learn about our client's daily lives and how their current space helps and hinders their experiences. With that understanding, we collaborate with our clients to craft a design solution that fits their vision for their home.

We are adept at pulling from numerous styles that when matched with our client's preferences yield distinctive, versatile designs that are a synthesis of the local built and natural environment, unique detail, modern functionality, and tasteful proportion.

Each of our designs are grounded to our client's budget, schedule and logistical requirements.  We model these practical considerations at the start of the design journey and continue to refine them as needed during our progress to the construction phase.

We are fortunate to have great relationships with talented and experienced consultants, engineers, contractors, and vendors.  We enjoy introducing our talented network to our clients when it's time to build.  Often we are partnered with builders through our clients.  We work as a team with our clients and their contractors to successfully make our client's dream and our design a reality.

Jenny Crookston has an established background in both architecture and interior design with over 20 years of experience working on residential and commercial projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City and Nashville. What Clients Say

"Jenny is a dream to work with and I would (will!) hire her again in a heartbeat. She's friendly, professional and extremely talented, balancing the art and science of both architecture and interior design seamlessly. Her designs are both beautiful and practical, and she makes whole process (even the construction part) easier and better by anticipating, addressing and documenting details before they become issues - and change orders. With our project, Jenny translated everything we threw at her into a design plan that delivered on just about every need, want and "wouldn't it be nice...", staying true to our vision while being respectful of our budget. She truly LISTENS and asks clarifying questions (in non-technical language) so she can extract what she needs to understand what you're looking for. She offers options and opinions, inviting feedback and is refreshingly honest when we start to go in a direction that strays from our path. The decisions are ultimately ours, of course, but the trust we developed in Jenny typically results in our following her lead. I could not ask for more in a designer and cannot wait to start our next project with her"
